Bhilai. Bhilai. The oldest and most reputed cooperative organization of the employees of Bhilai Steel Plant, Steel Employees Co-operative Credit Society Sector-6, Bhilai Nagar, gave a heartfelt farewell to the members of the organization who retired from the plant in the month of October or before. In the ceremony organized in the auditorium of the organization, the retired members were honored by President Brij Bihari Mishra and other officials by giving shawl/shrifal and account payee cheque of their deposited capital. In his welcome speech, President Brij Bihari Mishra congratulated the senior employees and said that retirement is a natural stage but the contribution you people made to Bhilai Steel Plant and your society during your service period will always be highlighted. He congratulated the retired members on the beginning of a new phase of life. These retired employees include Tilakram Verma from Research and Control Lab, Ganesh Rao from Rail and Structural Mill, Ramji from Sintering Plant 2, Shankarlal Thackeray from Merchant and Wire Rod Mill, Kamta Prasad Thakur from Blast Furnace, Ajay Kushwaha from Coal Handling Plant, Mukesh Moon from Medical, Rishi Kumar from Energy Management Department, B. Murthy from GAD, Manas Kumar from Steel Melting Shop-2, Ashok Kumar from Coke Oven and Coal Chemical Department, I Tejeshwara Rao, Satish Kumar from TED, Rajendra Kumar from Blast Furnace, Sajjad Hussain from Plate Mill, Chanchal Prasad from LDCP, Jugal Kishore Singh from Steel Melting Shop-2, Mrs. Philomina from Stores, Durga Verma from GAD, Madhumita Ghosh from General Establishment and Dr. Lata Dewangan from Medical. Many others including Jugal Kishore Singh and Sajjad Hussain from these retired members also recalled their years old relations with the society. On this occasion, Vice Presidents Inderjit Kaur and Amitabh and Directors Hariram Yadav, Neerja Sharma, Kuleshwar Chandrakar, Vinod Vasnik and Pawan Sahu were mainly present. The proceedings were conducted by Senior Assistant Chanchal Tiwari and vote of thanks was given by Senior Assistant Babulal Tandon.
