Employment generation, labor welfare and sports Chief Minister Sai informed Union Minister Dr. Mandaviya about the expansion of sports facilities in the state. He informed that the Chhattisgarh government has started various schemes to encourage sports talent in rural and tribal areas. The Chief Minister requested Dr. Mandaviya that the Central Government should give more support to these schemes, so that the youth of the state can excel at the national and international level. Dr. Mandaviya appreciated the efforts of Chief Minister Sai and praised the steps being taken for development in the state. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai paid a courtesy visit to Union Minister of Labor, Employment, Youth and Sports Affairs Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya at his residence in Delhi. He urged Dr. Mandaviya for more assistance from the Central Government for employment generation, labor welfare and expansion of sports facilities in Chhattisgarh. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma was also with him during this time. During the meeting with the Union Minister, Chief Minister Sai informed about the progress being made in the field of labor, employment and sports in the state. He informed that the Chhattisgarh government has taken many important steps to protect the interests of workers. These include increase in minimum wage rate, implementation of labor welfare schemes and creation of new employment opportunities. The Chief Minister sought more cooperation from the Central Government to reduce the rate of unemployment in the state.
