CG Police arrested the accused of robbery who was absconding for two years by raiding in Jharkhand

Raigarh: Dharamjaigarh Police has arrested accused Gulshan Lohar, who was absconding for two years and who had committed a heinous robbery with his accomplices on 27 July 2022, by raiding his house in Simdega, Jharkhand. SDOP Dharamjaigarh Siddhant Tiwari and Station Incharge Dharamjaigarh Inspector Kamala Pusam Thakur shared the information about the arrest of the absconding accused with the press.

Incident

On 27 July 2022, truck driver Sonu Ansari and his companion Zuber Ansari were going towards Uttar Pradesh. When their truck (No. CG 15 DF 7799) reached near Yadav Dhaba in Rairumakhurd, the accused stopped their car (No. JH 01 NE 1706) in front of the truck. After this, they threatened the truck driver Zuber Ansari and Khalasi Amar Kumar Paswan and got them out of the truck and attacked them. After the incident, the accused fled after looting 30 tonnes of iron rods loaded in the truck, worth ₹18,53,683.

Immediate action of Dharamjaigarh police

After the incident was reported, a case was registered at Dharamjaigarh police station under Crime No. 135/2022, Sections 365, 394, 395, 34 IPC and 25, 27 Arms Act. A blockade was put in place under the guidance of the then Superintendent of Police, and based on information received from informers, a prime accused Lokesh Yadav was arrested the same day. The looted truck, mobile phones and weapons used in the incident were also seized from his possession. Subsequently, other accused were identified and Purushottam Yadav was also arrested. Accused Gulshan Lohar and other accused—Surya Soni, Sanjay Bhagat, Deepu Yadav alias Kariya and a person named Bihari were absconding for two years. Charge sheet under section 173(8) CrPC against these accused was presented in J.M.F.C. Court Dharamjaigarh.

Present arrest

Under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Divyang Kumar Patel and SDOP Dharamjaigarh Siddhant Tiwari, Thana Incharge Dharamjaigarh Inspector Kamla Pusam Thakur activated the informer system to arrest the absconding accused in serious cases. Due to this vigilance, Dharamjaigarh Police has succeeded in arresting accused- Gulshan Kumar Vishwakarma alias Gulshan Lohar father Mohanram Vishwakarma age 24 years resident Darridih Mahuatoli Police Station Kurdeg District Simdega Jharkhand by raiding Simdega, Jharkhand, who will be produced on judicial remand today and supplementary challan will be presented soon against the arrested accused Gulshan Lohar, while the police campaign will continue in search of other absconding accused. This achievement of Dharamjaigarh Police team shows their determination to maintain law and order.
