Kawardha: The outbreak of diarrhea is increasing in Berhamuda village of the district. So far more than 32 people have been affected by diarrhea. It is being told that there is a leakage in the pipeline of the water tank from which drinking water is supplied. Due to this, dirty water from the drain started reaching the houses and people unknowingly consumed contaminated water, due to which diarrhea spread.

The water pipeline was not being properly maintained, due to which this problem arose. At the same time, after the matter came to light, the Health Department has set up a camp in the village and PHE officials have also been called to take samples for water testing. At present, as a precaution, the team of the Health Department is going door-to-door and making people aware to spray medicine.
