Korba. The Balko police has arrested and sent to jail the son who killed his father by hitting him with a Tangi dice in the Balko area of the district. The Balko police caught the accused promptly and vigilantly before he could flee to Kerala after committing the murder. At around 11 pm, information was received through mobile phone that Ashok Kewat has killed his father by hitting him with a Tangi dice in village Dondro. After verifying the information, the Superintendent of Police Korba was immediately informed about the incident.
Under the direction of Police Korba Siddharth Tiwari, Additional Superintendent of Police Korba U.B.S. Chauhan and guidance of Deputy Superintendent of Police Korba (Headquarters) Pratibha Markam, Balko police, under the leadership of Police Station Incharge Balko Abhinavkant Singh, started searching for the son accused of murder. The accused used to work in a cardamom garden in Kerala. After committing the crime, he was trying to escape to Kerala but due to the intelligence and promptness of the Balko police, the accused was traced and caught while going towards the forest near Dondro school before he could escape. The accused was duly arrested and sent on judicial remand.
