CG BREAKING: Ganja worth lakhs recovered from car of former MLA’s son

Raipur. A huge cache of ganja has been found from the car of the son of a former MLA. 151 kg of ganja has been recovered from the car of Ankit Nand, son of Congress MLA Kismatlal Nand, on the Odisha border. During the search of the car number CG 6 GY 8111, different packets of ganja have been found. However, seeing the police checking, the youth driving the car fled. It is being said that a relative of the former MLA was driving the car. According to the information received, the police had received information about ganja smuggling, after which the Sarangarh police deployed a team on the border and started investigation. During this time, a car with a hooter and high-mask light was seen, after which the police started investigation, then 151 kg of ganja was recovered during the search. The police is taking further action in this matter.

Let us tell you that Kismatlal Nand was a DSP in the police department. He has also received the President’s Medal for Gallantry. However, in 2018, Kismatlal Nand left the job, he joined the Congress party. The party also gave him a ticket from Saraipali, he won by a margin of more than 52 thousand votes and became a Congress MLA. In 2023, the party did not give him a ticket. Although he rebelled and contested the elections, he lost badly. Here, Cabinet Minister Kedar Kashyap has targeted the case of ganja being recovered from the car of the son of a former Congress MLA. He said that it has been the nature of the Congress to protect criminals and liquor mafias. The events that have come to light, somewhere these cases confirm this. Kedar Kashyap said that when his government was in power, betting was done openly. Liquor business was done, this is just the beginning. He said that more cases will come in the coming time.
