Centipede found in ice cream ordered online, complaint filed against Amul

NOIDA: Finding a human finger in ice cream ordered online had grabbed headlines. A 27-year-old doctor in Mumbai got a human finger from butterscotch ice cream ordered online. Now a native of Noida found a centipede in the ice cream ordered online.
Deepa Devi, a native of Noida, got centipede from Amul Vanilla Magic Ice Cream, which she ordered through Blinkit. Deepa shared the picture of it on social media and it has been criticized a lot. Following this, the woman lodged a complaint with Blinkit and the e-commerce platform refunded Rs 195. Blinkit also said that they have conveyed the information to Amul.A case was registered after a doctor found a human finger in ice cream. The Mumbai Police informed that the investigation into the incident is in progress. The doctor’s sister ordered ice cream and some other groceries through an app called ‘zepto’. The doctor ate one of the ice creams bought.The doctor said that after some time, she felt a solid piece in her mouth, then realized that it was a finger. By the time the doctor found the finger part, had eaten half of the ice cream. The incident was immediately reported to the police and the part of the finger and the remaining ice cream were handed over as evidence. The police confirmed that the part of the finger was found in the ice cream.
