Mumbai: A case of rape of a 13-year-old girl has come to light in Powai area of ​​Mumbai. On the basis of the statement of the victim girl, the police registered a case against the accused grandfather and started further investigation. Powai Police said that the accused is the uncle of the victim girl’s father. After the victim’s mother went to work, the accused was raping her for the last one month. After misbehaving with the victim, the accused threatened to kill her parents if she told anyone about this. Due to this, the victim girl was scared and that is why she did not tell this to anyone.

The victim girl complained of stomach pain, after which she was taken to the nearest doctor. Then it was known that something wrong had happened to her. When the family asked the girl, then the girl told her family about this. After this, her family went to the nearest police station and lodged a complaint in this matter.

Powai Police registered a case against the accused under rape and POCSO Act. The accused is originally from Bihar. Currently, he lives in Powai area. The police have started investigating the case. Earlier, a case of rape of a three-year-old girl came to light in Mumbai’s Antop Hill area. The accused took the girl to a secluded place and committed the rape. The girl was admitted to the hospital for treatment in critical condition.
