Car of former minister Siddharthnath Singh’s convoy overturned, 5 injured including driver

Pratapgarh | The vehicle involved in the convoy of Siddharth Nath Singh, former cabinet minister of the state and currently MLA of Allahabad City West, overturned near Ramkali of Manikpur in Pratapgarh. The accident happened while trying to save the dog that came in front of the vehicle.

The incident took place in Pratapgarh’s Manikpur area when the former minister was going to Lucknow with his convoy on Sunday. A total of 5 people including the driver and security personnel were injured in the accident. The injured were treated at a local hospital. At present, the former cabinet minister is completely safe. Inspector Virender Singh, who was engaged in his security, suffered serious injuries on his shoulder and driver Vipin’s head. Other people have also been hurt. According to eyewitnesses, suddenly a dog came in front of the fast moving convoy, in an attempt to save it, the police scooter running behind the convoy lost control and overturned twice. Further, both the police and the vehicle in which former minister Siddharth Nath Singh was sitting are safe.

The driver lost his balance while trying to save the dog which came in front of the vehicle on the highway in Rehmat Ali Ka Purwa in Manikpur in Pratapgarh. After this, the speeding vehicle became unbalanced and overturned. Four people, including the former minister’s security guard, who were in the car, received injuries and were taken to a local hospital.
