New Delhi (IANS) | A 42-year-old man died after his car fell off an under-construction flyover in Delhi’s Barapullah Extension area. A police officer gave this information on Monday. The incident is of 26 May. The deceased has been identified as Jagandeep of Krishna Nagar area.
According to the police, information was received that a car had fallen from the flyover.
A WagonR car was found in an accident condition on the spot and a person was lying unconscious on the driver’s seat, a senior police officer said. He was taken out of the car and taken to LBS Hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.
He said, Jagandeep’s family members revealed that he was employed in a private company in Noida for the last 15 years. On Friday 26 May, he left for his office at 10 am.
A case has been registered at the Mayur Vihar-1 police station under sections 279 (rash driving or riding on a public way) and 304A (causing death by negligence) of the Indian Penal Code, the official said.
