Cabinet meeting to be held tomorrow, efforts to prepare agenda intensified

Shimla. Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has called the cabinet on the first day of the new year itself. This meeting will be held at the State Secretariat in the afternoon on January 1. Information about this has also been sent to cabinet ministers on Saturday itself.

The General Administration Department is now working on making an agenda because it did not get time earlier. Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena was also out of Shimla due to the Chief Secretary Conference and was accompanied by Principal Secretary Revenue Omkar Chand Sharma, Health Secretary M Sudha Devi and Education Secretary Rakesh Kanwar. Therefore, work on the agenda of these three departments has not been done yet and only Sunday is left.

In this cabinet meeting, the Chief Minister can focus on new recruitments. In the winter session, an announcement has been made inside the House to create 20,000 jobs before March 31, 2024. Therefore, now the concerned departments will have to speed up the pace of these recruitments.

Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has to visit Delhi in the first week of January itself and talk about the issues of Himachal in the Central Government. Let us tell you that even in the Assembly session in Dharamshala, the Chief Minister had said that he is going to Delhi on January 3. He is to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah to provide more disaster relief to the state. The Chief Minister will also talk about the issues of the state in other ministries of the Government of India. There will also be a demand to provide electricity as per the need of Himachal in winter.
