Volvo Car: Volvo Car India has announced the commencement of deliveries of the new C40 Recharge. Launched earlier this month, the C40 Recharge is essentially an SUV-coupe model of the XC40 and is priced at ₹61.25 lakh (ex-showroom) for a limited period. The price includes a 3-year extended warranty, Road Side Assistant, 8-year battery warranty and an 11kW wall box charger. Unlike the brand’s regular range of models, Volvo will only sell the car through digital channels with the vehicle ordered directly from the manufacturer. The C40 Recharge is being retailed from Rs. Customers can currently book the SUV on the Volvo India website for a deposit of Rs 1 lakh.

The C40 Recharge shares many design similarities with the XC40 Recharge, with noticeable changes especially from the front, to the rear, to the B-pillar. The C40 gets a sleeker coupe-like roofline with more sharply raked D pillars and a changed design of the vertical tail-lamps seen on the XC40. The cabin design also remains the same with a portrait-style central touchscreen, digital instrument cluster and an overall minimalist design theme. Talking about the features, the C40 Recharge pack includes pixel LED headlamps, ADAS system, infotainment system with Google built-in, Harman Kardon Includes sound system, 360 degree camera and more.
The SUV-Coupe features a dual-motor all-wheel drive EV powertrain that produces 402 bhp of power and 660 Nm of peak torque, helping the SUV accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 4.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 180 kmph.
