Hair time. Once again on National Highway 30, a passenger bus collided with a tractor and fell into a roadside pit due to its speed and race to reach there before time. In this accident, three passengers including the driver were injured, they were sent to the hospital in Kanker, while other passengers in the bus were evacuated and sent to Raipur in another bus. This incident happened near village Khalemurvend of Keshkal police station area.
Keshkal police station in-charge told that late night a passenger bus had left for Raipur from Jagdalpur with 29 passengers. At around 2 o’clock in the night, as soon as the bus reached near village Khalemurvend of Keshkal police station area, a speeding vehicle coming from the front. While saving the truck, it collided with a tractor which was overtaking. After this accident, the bus went out of control and entered a roadside pit. Apart from the three passengers on board the bus, the driver of the bus was also injured. He was sent to Kanker hospital, while as soon as information about the incident was received, the Keshkal police team also reached the spot late in the night and started evacuating the passengers.
After all the passengers were taken out safely, they were sent to Raipur with the help of another bus. The bus was not taken out as it was late in the night, but since Saturday morning the police team was busy in taking out the bus.
