Bhilai. BSP Employees Cooperative and Welfare Society Limited, Sector 4, organized a ceremony to honorably bid farewell to its members who retired from Bhilai Steel Plant in August 2025. Following the welcome, Society President Puranlal Dewangan presented the retired employees with certificates of honor, sweets, coconuts, and final payment checks, wishing them well for the future. The retired employees expressed their gratitude for the honor and expressed their attachment to the Society.
Rajendra Kumar Singh, retired from the Water Management Department, said, “Despite being transferred to another plant, I continued to be a member of the Sector 4 Society because I knew the work here was done with reliability and transparency.” Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, retired from the Township Engineering Department (Civil), said, “The cooperative attitude here is unmatched in any other society.” Rajiv Ramteke, from the Steel Melting Shop, said, “All is well in the Sector 4 Society.” Ghanshyam Dewangan, retired from the Plate Mill, said, “I never had any problems getting a loan here. Dividends are also paid on time.” Pratap Singh, a retired CED employee, said, “The Sector 4 Society maintains a vibrant connection with its members, and they receive timely information about every activity.”
Man Bahadur Pradhan, a retired CRM mechanic, said, “At the beginning of my career, senior staff encouraged me to become a member of this society, and I have always benefited from it.” The event was also addressed by Ravikant Mahajan, Awadhesh Kumar Rai, from the Merchant Mill; Arun Kumar Maiti, Brijesh Kumar Agarwal, and Rakesh Kumar from the Coke Oven and Coal Chemical Department; Gauri Devi from the Medical Department; GSS Prasad Rao from the Rail and Structural Mill; Harendra Kumar Tikriha from the Blast Furnace; Jayant Kumar Ghosh from the Steel Melting Shop; and Ratanlal from the Transport and Diesel Organization. They all praised the Sector 4 Society’s work, spoke of its family-like atmosphere, and urged continued membership.
