Brutal Murder: 4 murders in 24 hours, a heart-wrenching incident

Amethi. Crime in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh is becoming a big challenge for the police. Within 24 hours, news of the fourth murder in Amethi has come to light. A youth who had gone to the market near Thaura village was beaten up by miscreants on the road over a minor issue and the youth died as soon as he reached the hospital. There is a lot of tension in the village since the incident. In view of the tension, a heavy police force has been deployed in the village. Ajay Singh, a resident of Kader village of Amethi, was going home from the market last evening at around 10 o’clock. On the way, some youths were drinking alcohol near Thaura village. Meanwhile, the accused stopped the youth, then they started arguing over something. In this argument, the miscreants beat the youth to death with sticks and bricks and fled from the spot. After this, the family members who reached the spot took the injured Ajay to the hospital. But he died there. The surprising thing is that this is the fourth murder in Amethi in the last 24 hours. Four murders within 24 hours raise questions on the alertness of the police. The first murder took place yesterday in Jamo police station area town where an elderly woman sleeping in her house was killed by barging into the house. The reason for the murder was that the accused had borrowed money from the elderly woman. When the elderly woman asked for the money back, the goons killed her. The second case is from Bhale Sultan Shahid Smarak police station area where an elderly man was beaten to death in a land dispute. The third case is from Badgaon of Sangrampur police station area where a young woman had left her house to go to the bank, meanwhile the goons raped her and then shot her dead and dumped the body in the forest. After the body was found, the entire incident was revealed in the post-mortem report. About 36 hours have passed since all the incidents but till now the police are empty handed. At present, a case has been registered in all the matters but no one has been arrested.
