Brilliant students and social workers were honored, police friends also received certificates

Raigarh. Under the direction of Superintendent of Police Divyang Kumar Patel, an inspirational program was organized at Kotrarod police station yesterday, in which citizens who made excellent contributions in various fields of society were honored. The program was presided over by Deputy Superintendent of Police Sushanto Banerjee and in the presence of Police Station Incharge Inspector Mohan Bhardwaj, meritorious students, social workers and active police friends were honored with certificates and symbols (mementos).
The honored citizens include Gorkha School lecturer Girja Patel, Kotra School lecturer Bir Singh, social worker Pooja Kanwar and state topper students Ishwar Patel (Raniguda) and Ronik Chauhan (Kalmi) who performed excellently in class 10th. Apart from this, constable Chudamani Gupta, Pushpendra Tripathi, Kamlesh Sarathi Dhanagar, Tina Oraon (Kosmanara), Jailal Sarathi and Lekh Ram Patel of Baispali village, who played an excellent role in crime investigation and as a police friend, were also honored as a mark of appreciation.
On this occasion, DSP Banerjee congratulated all the honored people and inspired them to maintain continuous participation in social welfare. He also highlighted the role of ‘Good Samaritan’ citizens in drug de-addiction campaign, ‘Surakshit Subah’ CCTV awareness campaign and giving immediate information about road accidents and taking the injured to the hospital. The entire staff of Kotra Road police station was present in the program and made the function dignified.
