Pendra. Bharat Borewells Pendra was seized on the spot and handed over to the Reserve Police Center in Amarpur after Bidhun Yadav, son of Jai Singh, dug a bore for agricultural work without permission in village Amadod of Pendra tehsil. The seizure action was done by SDM Pendraroad Richa Chandrakar and her team.
54 workers registered in mobile camp
In accordance with the intention of the state government, mobile camps are being organized continuously by the Labor Department to ensure economic and social security of workers. In this sequence, a mobile camp was organized in Gram Panchayat Sadhwani of Gaurela block on June 13, in which 54 workers were registered. Labor Officer BL Thakur said that under the direction of Collector Mrs. Leena Kamlesh Mandavi, camps are being organized regularly across the district. Through the camp, registration and renewal of workers is being done under Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board and Unorganized Workers State Social Security Board. In this camp organized in Sadhwani Gram Panchayat, the Welfare Inspector of Labor Department, Ms. Diksha Tiwari provided detailed information about the departmental schemes to the workers. They were also motivated to apply for registration with the necessary documents. On this occasion, LRC employees Shailendra Singh Pottam, Abhishek Thakur and Mithilesh Kaushik were present in the Labor Department team. The department informed that such mobile camps are being organized every month so that maximum number of workers can get the benefit of the schemes and they can be provided with the cover of social security.
