Etah. A sensation gripped Etah district, Uttar Pradesh, on Thursday when the bodies of a brother-in-law and his sister-in-law were recovered from the Hazara Canal. The two bodies were tied together at the waist with a single gamchha (traditional cloth). Family members also arrived at the site; the sight of the bodies triggered wailing and cries of grief among them.
According to reports, the brother-in-law and sister-in-law had been missing for about ten days. The family had been searching for them continuously but had found no leads. Then, on Thursday, information was received that two bodies had been spotted in the Hazara Canal. Locals alerted the police.
