BJP worker drowned in the river, SDRF team engaged in search

A BJP worker was swept away and went missing in the strong current of the Arpa river in Bilaspur. The SDRF team kept searching for the youth till night, but he has not been found. It is being told that he had gone to attend Dashagatra, when his foot slipped near the anicut and he was swept away in the strong current. The incident is from Torwa police station area.

Rakesh Dhiraj (26), a resident of Domukhani, is a BJP worker. It is being told that one of his acquaintances has passed away, whose Dashagatra was on Thursday. After the program, the people present went to the anicut near Domukhani in the Arpa river to take a bath. Dhiraj also went there to take a bath.

During this, Dhiraj’s foot slipped, after which he drowned in the depth of the water. Before the people present could understand anything, he drowned in the strong current.
