BJP Tamil Nadu Manifesto Promises Rs 2,000 for Women, Free LPG & Fast-Track Courts

BJP has released its manifesto in the wake of the assembly elections in Tamil Nadu. BJP top leader and Union Minister JP Nadda released the manifesto at a function held in Chennai on Tuesday. Tuesday is the Tamil New Year. The leaders felt that releasing the party manifesto on this occasion was a good development. Key leaders like Tamil Nadu BJP President Nainar Nagendran, BJP leaders K Annamalai and Tamilisai Soundararajan participated in the function.

Now, the BJP has announced many free schemes for the people. BJP leaders said that this manifesto has been prepared keeping in mind issues like welfare, development and health. These are the key promises in the manifesto. Monthly financial assistance of Rs. 2,000 to women, annual financial assistance of Rs. 10,000 to each family, free gas cylinder, implementation of zero FIR reporting system, establishment of fast track courts for the trial of heinous crimes, installation of CCTV cameras in buses, schools and universities, financial assistance of Rs. 25,000 to eligible women to purchase these scooters, interest-free loans of up to Rs. 50,00,000 to self-help groups, small-scale and cottage industries, additional financial assistance of Rs. 3,000 to farmers, monthly financial assistance of Rs. 2,000 to those who raise bulls participating in Jallikattu, financial assistance of Rs. 10 lakh to the families of those who died in Jallikattu, and three percent less stamp duty if a house is bought in the name of women.

Tamil Nadu is going to hold assembly elections on May 23. There are 234 assembly seats here. There are 5.67 crore voters. 44 SC seats, 2 ST reserved seats. The results will be declared on May 4. DMK, AIADMK, TVK, BJP and Congress are the main parties contesting.
