BJP MLA’s maternal uncle murdered, 4 suspects in police custody
Pune. Pune Police has detained two more people in the kidnapping and murder case of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Yogesh Tilekar’s maternal uncle Satish Wagh. Police have now detained a total of four people in this case. Police is searching for another one. Police is continuously interrogating all four people. However, the mystery of murder and kidnapping has not been solved yet. According to media reports, Yogesh Tilekar used to go out for a morning walk in Hadapsar area on Monday. During this time, four to five people kidnapped him. His body was found in Yavat village of Pune late in the evening.
Eight teams of Crime Branch and Pune Police are investigating the case. Police is investigating the reason behind the murder. Police is scanning all the CCTV footage in the area. Police is also continuously interrogating Tilekar’s relatives and friends. Police had suspected that Yogesh Wagh was killed by inflicting multiple blows on his body and hitting him on the head with a wooden stick. Pune Police gave initial information that Satish Wagh was kidnapped on the morning of 9 December and was killed shortly after.
Police estimate that Satish Wagh was killed within a few hours of his kidnapping. Dog squad and forensic team have found many evidences at the scene. This includes a wooden stick stained with blood. Based on these evidences, police have detained four people so far. 16 teams of Pune Police are searching for the accused. Information has come to light that Pune Police has used human intelligence and technology to reach the accused.
