Agra. The leader of Agra district unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Uttar Pradesh lost his life in a road accident. The BJP leader died in a road accident near Parvati river while returning from Ujjain. A party official informed about the incident on Sunday. According to the official, seven people including Sanjeev Bhardwaj (40), in-charge of Agra’s Braj area office, councilor Vijay Verma, were returning in a car after visiting the Mahakal temple in Ujjain.
He told that at around 5:00 am on Sunday morning, the rear tire of his car burst near the Parvati River and the car went out of control and overturned, in which all the people sitting in the car were injured. The official said that all the injured were admitted to the hospital, where Sanjeev was declared dead by the doctors. Meanwhile, the condition of Mukul, working in the Braj area office, remains critical. BJP’s Braj regional president Durgvijay Singh said that the body of deceased Sanjeev Bhardwaj will first be taken to Bareilly from Agra Braj area office. He told that Bhardwaj’s wife is a lecturer in GIC Inter College and they also have a daughter.
