Biodiversity Conservation Park: Chief Minister’s advice

Tamil Nadu : Chief Minister M.K. Stalin held a meeting on the establishment of a biodiversity conservation park in Chengalpattu district. The meeting was attended by several ministers and officials, among others.
A world-class biodiversity conservation park is to be set up at Kadampur village in Chengalpattu district. The park is to be developed in collaboration with various government agencies, including the Tamil Nadu Infrastructure Development Board. The state government’s forest department has prepared a complete project report for this.
The key aspects of this report were discussed in a meeting held at the Secretariat on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister M.K. Stalin.
It was attended by ministers Thangam Thennarasu, R.S. Rajkannappan, Chief Secretary N. Muruganantham, Additional Chief Secretary of Environment Department Supriya Sagu, Principal Secretary of Finance Department T. Udayachandran, Principal Secretary of Tamil Nadu Infrastructure Development Board Pooja Kulkarni, among others.
