In Prankster Mode: Billie Eilish is in full prankster mode as her latest stunt has left fans in splits. Recently, the Grammy-winning singer was tasked with prank-calling her celebrity friends. Eilish used the opportunity to hilariously target Margot Robbie and Dakota Johnson. Robbie was the first to be named with whom Eilish collaborated for the hit film Barbie. As part of her interview with Elle magazine, she called Margot who was surprised to receive the call as she had put her phone on airplane mode. The actress picked up the call while she was on the set, having absolutely no idea that she was about to be pranked. Before Eilish could set up her prank, Robbie praised her latest album Hit Me Hard and Soft, saying, “First of all, your album, I’m dead, dead, dying, we’re obsessed with it. We can’t stop listening to it. It’s unreal,” he said.
For the prank, Eilish pretended she needed Robbie’s house for a music video shoot. The actress explained that she was packing up her house and tried to help by brainstorming possible solutions and asking follow-up questions. However, Eilish, who couldn’t stop laughing, eventually revealed that it was all a prank. Robbie continued, “Prank me anytime you want and also, if you ever have an actual request like that, feel free to call me.” Next, the singer called Johnson with a bizarre request for advice about a film role. “I’m being offered a role in a movie in which they want me to play like a baby,” Eilish said. “They want me to literally play like a baby. I’m in diapers.” Johnson, clearly shocked, asked if the movie had a “good script,” to which Eilish responded firmly. When Johnson asked if the movie was supposed to be “fun or serious,” Eilish continued to play along, saying it was bad. She described the role as “a big baby,” causing Johnson to compare it to “Benjamin Button.”
Eilish then told him she needed a dialect coach to learn how to do a baby voice, to which Johnson laughed. Eventually, Eilish explained the prank, to which Johnson replied, “I was going to ask you if it was a prank.” After finding out about the prank, Johnson shared, “The weird thing is I thought, ‘Oh, she’s calling me because we just talked,’ and then I thought, ‘Oh, no, this is so funny.'” She added that she was about to say to Eilish, “Don’t you have enough money already?” which made Eilish laugh.
