At present, the investigation of the case is going on and the police is also interrogating other possible accused and recovery of stolen goods.
Why was the scene recreation done?
Scene recreation is considered an important part of the investigation in any criminal case. Its objective is to understand how the incident took place, the route by which the accused allegedly came and went and how the crime was committed.
The police adopted the process of repeating the entire incident by taking both the accused to the incident spot and other relevant places amid security arrangements. With this, the investigating agency will be able to match the available evidence and the statements of the accused.
One car and two bikes recovered
Police say that on the basis of information received during interrogation, a car and two motorcycles have been recovered at the behest of Tinnu and Manish. The investigating officers will now examine the registration documents, ownership and technical evidence of these vehicles.
If forensic investigation and other evidence confirms the use of these vehicles, they may be included as important evidence in the case.
What points did the investigation focus on?
Police are currently investigating many aspects—
How was the entire theft planned?
How many people were involved in the incident?
For what purpose were the recovered vehicles used?
How much of the stolen offerings was recovered?
Did anyone else play a role?
To gather answers to all these questions, the police is analyzing technical and physical evidence.
Forensic and digital evidence will be examined
To strengthen the investigation, police are collecting various types of evidence, which may include—
cctv footage
mobile phone location
Call Detail Record (CDR)
vehicle records
Fingerprints and other forensic evidence
eyewitness statements
On the basis of this evidence, efforts will be made to connect the complete chain of the incident.
Judicial process will be decisive
The findings of the recovery and investigation made by the police will be tested in the court. According to Indian law, mere arrest or seizure does not prove a person’s guilt. The final decision will be taken only on the basis of available evidence, witnesses and the hearing in the court.
What will be the next action?
Police are continuing scientific investigation of the vehicles recovered in the case, further interrogation of the accused and search for other possible accused. If new facts emerge in the investigation, further legal action will be taken on their basis. Recovery of the remaining stolen offerings and investigation of the entire network also remains the priority of the agency.
