Big claim of attack on American warships

Sana’a: Yemen’s Houthi group has claimed attacks on a Singapore-flagged cargo ship and US Navy warships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden. The group also says that the cargo ship also belonged to America. Houthi military spokesman Yahya Sariya claimed responsibility for Friday’s attack in a statement, Xinhua news agency reported. Sariya said his forces conducted two operations. In the first operation, the American ship Propel Fortune was targeted in the Gulf of Aden, while in the second operation, several American warships were targeted in the Red Sea and the Gulf.
“We will continue our operations in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden until Israel stops its attacks and blockade of the Palestinian people in Gaza,” Saareya said. Meanwhile, US Central Command said on social media on Saturday that Propel Fortune is a Singapore-based ship and was not significantly damaged by the attack. It is noteworthy that the Houthis have been attacking ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden since mid-November last year. He says it is to show solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza.
