Jalore. Jalore. In Jalore district of Rajasthan, a person was allegedly attacked and killed while sleeping. The person who was killed had also contested the assembly elections from Siwana seat a few years ago. On the murder of the person, Ashok Gehlot’s son Vaibhav Gehlot said that criminals do not fear the police and the law. He has demanded immediate action from Jalore Police in the case and arrest of the accused. Additional Deputy Superintendent of Police Rameshwarlal said that Vijayraj Dewasi was sleeping in his house in Bawatra village of Sayla police station area on Friday night. At the same time, around two o’clock, three-four unknown attackers attacked him with sharp weapons and then fled. After this, Vijayraj was taken to the hospital by his family in an injured condition, where he was declared dead. On the complaint of the family, the police have registered a case against the unknown attackers and started investigation. Vijayraj’s family refused to get the post-mortem of the body done, demanding the arrest of the accused and they are sitting on a dharna. Police officers are trying to convince them. Vijayraj Dewasi was a Congress worker and contested the 2013 assembly elections from Siwana seat as a Bahujan Samaj Party candidate. After Vijayraj’s murder, former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s son Vaibhav Gehlot demanded immediate action in the case from Jalore police. He wrote on Instagram, “Late night in Bawatra, Jalore, unknown criminals entered the house and killed Congress worker Vijayraj Dewasi. This shows that criminals have no fear of police and law.
