Raipur. Industries Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan directed to issue notice within three days to those industrialists who have not set up industries even after taking land in the name of industries. Today on Thursday, Commerce and Industry Minister Shri Dewangan gave instructions to this effect in a meeting of managers of industry and trade centers of all the districts of the state at Circuit House Raipur. Instructions were given to issue notice to Kamal Singh Meena, manager of District Trade Industry Center of Narayanpur, who was absent in the meeting. Commerce and Industry Department Secretary Mohammad Qaiser Abdul Haq, Director Industries P. Arun Prasad, Joint Secretary and Additional Director Industries Alok Trivedi, Praveen Shukla, Santosh Bhagat and officials from the districts were present in the meeting.
While giving instructions to the General Managers who came from all the districts, Industries Minister Shri Dewangan said that the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister think that there should be employment in as many hands as possible, along with employment, we also have to make them capable. He said that more and more industries should be established in the state, which will increase employment opportunities for the youth. The Industries Minister said that even after allotment of land, if industries have not been established, issue a notice to the authorized person of such industries and if the industry is still not established then take action to cancel the land allotment. Industry can be helpful in strengthening the economy of the state. The new industrial policy 2024-2029 will be implemented soon by the state government.
Industry Minister Shri Dewangan also reviewed the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Scheme and the Chief Minister’s Youth Self-Employment Scheme. He instructed to sanction loans for self-employment to as many applicants as possible. In the name of passing the loan, bankers should not make the beneficiary make repeated visits to the banks. Industry department officials should take special care of this.
Minister Shri Dewangan gave instructions to provide benefits of all the schemes in new districts also. He said that in new districts also, they should work in coordination with other departments to resolve the applications. Cabinet Minister reviewed PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Scheme. He said that this scheme is an ambitious plan of the Honorable Prime Minister to provide better training to the beneficiaries of all 18 trades. The Industries Minister said that the officers of the department should better implement various schemes of the government, so that the common people get its benefits. He said that local youth should get jobs on priority in the industries being established in the state.
Take special care of this. He said that all the officers of the department and officers posted in the plain areas should do better work. The Industry Minister reviewed the progress of the Pradhan Mantri Employment Generation Program Scheme, establishment of new industries in the state during the financial year 2023-24. Apart from this, he reviewed the progress of the cases of Chief Minister Youth Self-Employment Scheme, Prime Minister Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) Scheme, Prime Minister Vishwakarma Yojana, various grants, exemptions and concessions. Apart from this, matters related to land allocation were reviewed and applications received related to free-hold were resolved, MOUs made for industries. The progress, works of the State Investment Promotion Board, Steam Equipment Inspectorate works, registrar forms and institutions were reviewed.
