Raipur. Former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Congress candidate from Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha seat, has been accused of assaulting BJP workers and women. Rajnandgaon MP Santosh Pandey has completely denied the allegations of pushing and shoving by Bhupesh Baghel.
Voting is also being held in the high profile Rajnandgaon seat of the state in the second phase of Lok Sabha elections. Former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, the Congress candidate from the area, has alleged harassment. On the other hand, BJP workers have accused Bhupesh Baghel of instigating assault in Tedesara.
The women made serious allegations against Bhupesh Baghel and said that what will he do after winning if he gets beaten up in the booth. Whenever he comes to the village, he gets beaten up. Along with this, the sons of Tedesara’s Sarpanch and Deputy Sarpanch have been accused of assault. Meanwhile, on Bhupesh Baghel’s allegation of being heckled by BJP workers, Rajnandgaon MP Santosh Pandey retorted and said that Congress is making unnecessary allegations.
