Bhupesh Baghel casts his vote for Panchayat elections in Kuruddih

Durg. Former CM Bhupesh Baghel reached his native village Kuruddih and voted with his family for the Panchayat elections. After voting, counting of votes is being done in the polling centers today. Former CM Bhupesh Baghel also reached Kuruddih in Patan to cast his vote.

Minister Kedar Kashyap has also voted in Farsaguda of Narayanpur. Apart from this, the groom also cast his vote by reaching the polling booth before the wedding procession in Pendra. After voting in Pendra, the officials presented a plant to the voters.

In the second phase, elections were held for 26 thousand 988 Panch posts, 3 thousand 774 Sarpanch posts, 899 Janpad members and 138 District Panchayat members. For this, 9 thousand 738 polling centers were set up. At the same time, 65 thousand 716 candidates are contesting for Panch, 15 thousand 217 for Sarpanch, 3 thousand 885 for Janpad member and 699 candidates for District Panchayat member.
