Bhubaneswar: Youth attacked, 8 arrested, weapons seized

Bhubaneswar: Two youths have been attacked at Bhubaneswar Airport, in this case the Airport Police has arrested eight people. Reports say that, the eight accused persons are from Kedarpalli slum.

The police have also seized the weapon used in the attack. The arrested accused include Rajesh Naik, Malik Naik, Krishna Chandra Barik, Balbhadra, Akshay Behera, Aloy Das, Shivram Pradhan and Raka.

In a tragic incident, two youths were attacked by a group of miscreants around the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar. Credible reports have confirmed that the incident occurred around 9:30 pm on Sunday night. The injured man, known alias Shiva, is significantly linked to several cases registered with the police.

Reports received from reliable sources state that a group of about 20-30 people attacked the youth at Airport Chowk in Bhubaneswar. The exact reason behind the attack is not yet known. However, old enmity is being anticipated.

The injured were taken to Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar for immediate medical attention. Further investigation of the case is ongoing. More details are awaited.
