Bhubaneswar: Over 12,000 teachers will evaluate matriculation answer sheets from March 19.

Bhubaneswar: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, has announced that the evaluation process for Class 10 answer sheets will begin on March 19th and is expected to be completed by April 2nd. According to sources, the evaluation will take place at 50 centers across 30 districts, with 47 centers for matriculation answer sheets, two for the State Open School Certificate (SOSC), and one for Sanskrit Madhyama. Furthermore, to maintain transparency, the board has secretly formed teams to transport answer sheets from the nodal center to the evaluation center. The entire process is being conducted with utmost secrecy to ensure fairness.

As per the board’s decision, examiners and teachers involved in the evaluation process will be required to report to the evaluation center from March 18th. Each teacher will evaluate 25-30 answer sheets per day. More than 12,000 teachers have been appointed for this evaluation process. District Education Officers have been directed to appoint four data entry operators at each evaluation center. In addition, a Chief Examiner, two Deputy Chief Examiners, and two Scrutinizers have been appointed to oversee the process.
