The military headquarters of the Western Central Railway was created to meet the needs of railway passengers. So that they can be punished as soon as complaints are received. These military headquarters were established in three railway divisions of West Central Railway: Bhopal, Jabalpur and Kota. In the operational center, more emphasis is laid on analysis to quickly resolve passenger problems and improve service. In this war room, employees of various departments work on computer terminals 24 hours a day, seven days a week to solve the problems of passengers. Employees of FIU, Electrical and Mechanical departments are also uniting to monitor social media.
This war room also does real time monitoring. Managers and employees work in three shifts in the war room, control room with computers, intercom, telephones, cell phones and large screens. On receiving a complaint on the Rail Sahayata portal, the concerned employees will take immediate action and contact the passengers to know their problem. In such a situation, the problem will be resolved immediately by informing the affected police station. Medical assistance, water in coaches, cleanliness, electricity and other facilities related to railway passengers, security etc. The service is provided at the earliest possible time through the operation of the railway’s military station. The bets are settled immediately in the war room.
After the decision, feedback is taken from the passengers so that the quality of service can be continuously improved. High-tech equipment like large screens, intercoms, computers etc. were used in the war room. There is also continuous monitoring from the war room. Staff is provided in three shifts for this purpose. In June, 36,833 people were caught stealing in Bhopal, Kota and Jabalpur divisions of West Central Railway. Along with this, a fine of about Rs 2 crore 80 lakh was also collected from them. Similarly, Rs 1 crore 62 lakh was paid to 40,320 people traveling on abnormal tickets. A fine of Rs 27,820 was imposed on 121 people traveling with unreserved luggage.
