Bettiah: News of a tragic accident has come from West Champaran district of Bihar, where two girls died by drowning in a water-filled pit on Wednesday. At the same time, an atmosphere of mourning has spread in the village after this incident. The family members are in a bad state due to crying. According to the information, the case is from Gopalpur police station area of the district. The deceased girls have been identified as Nirma Kumari (11), daughter of Krishna Ram, resident of Jamunia village, and Radhika Kumari, daughter of Jaiprakash alias Jhagru Mahato. It is being told that Nirma, Kumari and Manturi Kumari (11) were returning home after school from Upgraded Madhya Vidyalaya Mainpur, when on the way, all three girls started bathing in a water-filled pit. During this, two girls died by drowning after going into deep water, while a girl was saved from drowning by a passerby, who is undergoing treatment in the local hospital. Here, as soon as the information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot. The family members of the deceased have refused to conduct a post-mortem. The family members are inconsolable after the incident.
