The BMW iX1 electric car is available in two variants, one with a single-motor eDrive 20 and one with a two-motor all-wheel drive. The xDrive 30 variant has been launched in the Indian market. In the Indian market, it will compete with the Volvo XC40 Recharge and C40 Recharge.
As far as the design of the BMW iX1 is concerned, we make it look like an ICE model. However, what is slightly different compared to the electric model is the closed radiator grille with honeycomb mesh design. The cabin is equipped with a 10.25-inch digital display for the driver and a 10.7-inch touchscreen infotainment system for music enjoyment, it also has a Harman Kardon sound system with 12 speakers, dual-zone automatic climate control and a panoramic sunroof.
In the BMW iX1 electric SUV, the company offers a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 66.4 kWh, which promises a range of up to 440 km on a single charge. The dual electric motor setup of this car ensures a maximum power of 313 hp and a peak torque of 494 Nm. This allows it to travel at a top speed of 180 km/h. Apart from this, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.6 seconds. Talking about safety, this car is equipped with multiple airbags, rear parking camera, parking assistant and driver assistant.
