Bengaluru Students Kidnap Classmate Over Desire for Lavish Life

Bengaluru: Some students have formed a gang to live a luxurious life. They are kidnapping and threatening fellow students and extorting money. They were caught with the kidnapping of a classmate. The police have arrested them. (Students Kidnapped Classmate) This incident took place in Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka. Students from many states are studying at Jain University in Bengaluru. Four students from Bihar, Jharkhand, Kerala and Bengaluru are used to jalsa. They have formed a gang to live a luxurious life. They are kidnapping and threatening several students and extorting money.

Meanwhile, the four students recently targeted Odisha student Mohanty. They dragged him out of the hostel. They forcibly put him in a car and kidnapped him. They took Mohanty to a student room. They called his friends. They demanded Rs. 50,000 for his release.

On the other hand, Mohanty’s worried friends initially transferred Rs. 10,000. However, they became suspicious and informed the police. With this, the police stepped in. The whereabouts of the accused were identified through mobile location tracking. Mohanty was rescued after being kidnapped.

The police have arrested four accused students. They have seized a fake metal gun, a knife and a car used in the crime. The police officer said that the four accused are old criminals and are working as a gang. It was revealed that during the investigation, it was found that they had threatened several students for money for the jalsa.
