Bengaluru: The Central Crime Branch (CCB) of Bengaluru police on Saturday rescued four women being pushed into prostitution, officials said.
On May 14, the Women Safety Unit of the Crime Branch received information that women were being pushed into prostitution at a house in Basaveshwara Nagar. A team of officials immediately raided the house.
The information was correct. Four women were rescued and two suspects were arrested. A case was registered at the Basaveshwara Nagar police station and further investigation is underway, officials said.
