Before the program of 22 January, Nripendra Mishra said it was an auspicious time for the consecration of Ram Lala.

New Delhi: Shri Ram Mandir Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Mishra said on Wednesday that the ‘shubh muhurat’ or auspicious time for the consecration of Ram Lala in the temple in Ayodhya is on January 22 at 12.30 pm. The chairman of the construction committee said that the idol of seated Lord Ramlala will be brought inside the sanctum sanctorum of Ram temple in Ayodhya on Thursday morning.

“The ‘Muhurat’ on January 22 is around 12.30 pm. Prayers and rituals have begun. Ram Lalla will probably be brought inside the sanctum sanctorum tomorrow morning. A variety of rituals, such as abhishek (bathing) of the idol, among other things, will be performed. Finally, when the auspicious time comes on 22nd of this month at 12.30 pm, the Pran Pratishtha will be performed,” Mishra said in an interview with ANI.

The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of Ram temple will be organized in the temple town. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to attend the installation of Ram Lalla’s idol at the grand temple on that day. The black stone idol of Ram Lalla, exquisitely carved by Mysore-based sculptor Arun Yogiraj, has been chosen to sit on the throne.

The rituals began on Tuesday and will continue for seven days. Thousands of VIP guests have received invitations from Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust for the ceremony. Meanwhile, Nripendra Mishra said the event is historic and Hindus around the world feel that their faith has been respected.

“This is probably a historic event. There was a belief universal among Hindus, I would call it, that (Lord) Ram belongs to Ayodhya and he should be recognized at the place where people believe the temple is. So, because of the faith and belief in this way, suddenly it was realized that Lord Ram would come to the temple in the form of a child and the consecration would take place, which we call Pran Pratishtha,” said the chairman of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir Nirman Samiti.

“Not only in India but all over the world Hindus feel that their rights have been recognized and their faith respected,” he said. Referring to the Supreme Court’s decision on the Ayodhya case five years ago, the former Principal Secretary to Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “What did PM Modi say in 2019, when the decision came, that there should be no feeling of victory or defeat.” ” Everyone will have to accept the judicial decision.

So everyone is cautious that when you celebrate this day, do not celebrate it to a person of any other religion to show that he is less important for this country. This country belongs to everyone.” The Trust has made elaborate arrangements to welcome and honor all the attendees, giving them gifts including ‘Ram Raj’. As part of the festivities, the Teerth Kshetra Trust will also distribute special ‘Motichoor laddus’ made with desi ghee as prasad to the guests.

A member of the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust shared that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is set to attend the event, will be presented a 15-metre photograph of the Ram temple packed in a jute bag, containing the image of the sacred structure. More than 11,000 guests across the country have received invitations from the Trust for the consecration ceremony, with special arrangements being made to provide memorable gifts to all present. According to a member of the Trust, the revered Ram Raj soil taken out from the temple will be given to the guests, which will serve as a memorable souvenir.

This sacred gift can be used in home gardens or in pots, adding a touch of divinity to their homes. Those who are unable to attend the Pran Pratishtha program can also get this meaningful gift in future.
A team of priests led by Laxmikant Dixit will perform the main ritual of Pran Pratishtha.
