The woman’s husband has been admitted to the hospital in critical condition. The bears attacked the woman with nails so much that she died on the spot. According to information, 85-year-old Mangra Nagesia, a resident of Gopatu, along with his wife 80-year-old Gendia Nagesia had gone to pluck mangoes in the Kumbhidipa forest of Amtahi area on Thursday morning.
After plucking mangoes, both started collecting wood. During this time this incident happened. Bears came from the bushes The injured elder told that 3 bears suddenly came from the bushes and attacked us, snatched flesh from many parts of his wife’s body. Because of this, he died on the spot, while Mangra has nail scratches on his hands and feet. After this the bear ran back towards the forest. On the other hand, hearing the cries of the husband and wife, the people around reached the spot. He immediately admitted Mangra to the hospital.
