Basic Learning Survey: Education Department orders training for third-grade students
Tamil Nadu: The Basic Learning Assessment (BLE) for third-grade students in government schools is soon to be conducted, so the School Education Department has ordered training using sample question papers.
In this regard, P.A. Naresh, Director of the Elementary Education Department, has sent a circular to all District Education Officers: The Basic Learning Survey (BLS) for third-grade students in Tamil Nadu will be conducted in February or March this academic year. In this regard, the NCERT (National Institute of Educational Research and Training) has informed that sample question papers prepared by the NCERT (National Institute of Educational Research and Training) for Tamil, English, and Urdu languages have been sent to District Education Offices for field testing.
Accordingly, these sample question papers should be sent to all schools, and steps should be taken to provide necessary training to teachers for third-grade students. Apart from this, District Education Officers are advised to issue appropriate instructions to all school principals in this regard, it said.
