New Samathuvapuram Apartments: Inaugurated by CM Stalin

Tamil Nadu: Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated newly constructed Samathuvapurams, apartments, and registrar offices in Tamil Nadu.

The Chief Minister made these available to the public via video conferencing at a program held at the Chennai Secretariat on Tuesday.

The Rural Development and Panchayat Department constructed the Samathuvapuram in the Ramanathapuram-Vallimadan area at a cost of ₹78.41 crore.

Similarly, a new road and office building of the Rural Development and Panchayat Department were constructed at the Vaiyapamalai Subramanya Swamy Temple in Namakkal. In addition, a public health building, a community hall, and a school building were constructed. Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated these.

The Chief Minister also inaugurated seven new registrar office buildings for the Registration Department, constructed at a cost of ₹7 crore. Apartments constructed at a cost of ₹14.92 crore were inaugurated in Kinathukadavu and Sulur in Coimbatore district, Airal in Thoothukudi district, Thiruvennayanallur in Villupuram district, Ponneri and Tirupattur in Tiruvallur district, and Thiruppuvanam in Sivaganga district. The Chief Minister also inaugurated the newly created Chakkasamkulam Registrar Office, Dharmapuri Registration District, and Papparapatti Registrar Office in Coimbatore district.

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin also inaugurated 396 new apartments constructed by the Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board in the Subramaniapuram Project Area in Madurai at a cost of ₹62.68 crore. It is noteworthy that in the last five years, the Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board has opened 74,522 apartments in 210 project areas.

The minister, department secretary and senior government officials were present at the event.
