Baleno car thief arrested from Indraprastha Colony

Raipur. The person who stole the Baleno car from Indraprastha Colony has been arrested. On 23.07.2025, Shashank Tamrakar came to DD police station and filed a report that the Baleno car CG 04 PD – 9131 purchased in the name of my elder brother, which is driven by me, he had parked it outside the house in Indraprastha Phase-2 and went to his work. At 5 pm, the applicant’s mother told that an unknown person had come in the name of survey, who secretly took the keys and stole the vehicle parked outside, on which a report was lodged in DD Nagar police station. On the applicant’s report, crime number 294/25 section 303 (2) BNS was registered in DD Nagar police station and investigation was taken up. During investigation it was found that the said vehicle Baleno car CG-04 PD-9131 was standing in abandoned condition at Geedha bypass road of Mungeli and all four wheels and battery were missing. Upon reaching Mungeli on the above information, investigation was done and the said vehicle was found to be stolen from Raipur. On enquiry with the help of local police station, the said car was seen being driven by Akash Karthik alias Monu, resident of Mugeli, on which the accused was traced and arrested and on interrogation the accused confessed to have stolen it. The said Baleno vehicle was seized and brought to DD Nagar police station and the accused was arrested and sent to jail on judicial remand.

In this case, under the guidance of police station in-charge inspector S.N. Singh, the DD Nagar police station staff took prompt action and arrested the accused and sent him on judicial remand, thus doing a commendable job.
