Hyderabad: Some people killed a rowdy sheeter in Balapur’s Wadi-e-Mustafa on Wednesday night. Mubarak Sikar (32) was surrounded by a group of people around midnight and brutally stabbed with knives. Later the attackers threw stones at the person. On information, police reached the spot and after investigation, the body was sent to Osmania General Hospital for postmortem. A case has been registered. The police suspect that the people with whom Mubarak was in rivalry may have murdered him. Initially there was confusion over the police station jurisdiction of the incident site as the place fell on the border between Pahari Sharif and Balapur police stations. After this, senior officials asked Balapur Police to take up the matter.
