Baghpat: Woman stabs husband in eye with scissors when he asks for mobile phone

Baghpat: A woman reportedly left her husband in tears when he picked up his mobile phone to listen to songs on a social networking platform. Giving information about this incident which took place in Housing Development Colony under Baraut Police Commissionerate, Area Officer (CO) Saviratna Gautam said that Ankit has filed a complaint against his wife Priyanka in connection with the incident. Police registered a case against the accused and started investigation, the CO said. The officer said Ankit had asked Priyanka to use his mobile phone to listen to songs on YouTube. The wife negotiated to give the mobile by saying that she used to listen to songs on the mobile. There was an argument between the two on this issue, after which Priyanka allegedly hit Ankit in the eye. Ankit’s family entered the nearby community health center. The cargo station said it would take further steps after investigation.
