Ayushman Bharat to be implemented in Odisha from February 2025, Health Minister

Bhubaneswar: Ayushman Bharat and Gopabandhu Jan Arogya Yojana will be implemented in the state of Odisha from February. The new government will bring big development in the health sector in the New Year. As many as 3.5 crore people of the state will get the health cards. No one will be left out. Odisha Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling informed this on Monday.

The central team has also visited. Along with this, the government will increase the number of new medical colleges and nursing colleges in the New Year.

Ayushman Bharat and Gopabandhu Jan Arogya Yojana will be implemented in the state from February. This Ayushman Bharat scheme will be implemented in the state in the current financial year itself.

A MoU will be signed between Gopabandhu Arogya Yojana and Ayushman Bharat Yojana. 3.5 Crore people will be given special cards. Due to this, medical facilities can be availed in 27 thousand hospitals from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.

It was also said that all senior citizens above the age of 70 years, irrespective of their socio-economic status, will be eligible to get the benefits of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana.

While there have been many questions about when Ayushman Bharat will be implemented in Odisha, the Health Minister has given this big information in this regard today. It has been said that the Odia diaspora, who are deprived of getting health-based schemes, will also get the benefit now.
