Raigarh. Dial 112 received information about a fight in village Janjgir under Tamnar police station. Shani Sidar (25 years), resident of village Janjgir, who was injured in Mapit, was admitted to CHC Tamnar for treatment by Doyle 112 staff who reached the spot.
Regarding the incident, a report was filed by Priya Sidar, younger sister of the victim, in Tamnar police station and she told that on the afternoon of 12.04.2024, there was a fight between her brother Shani Sidar and Suresh Sidar of the village, at around 8.30 pm, Suresh Sidar came to her house and brother Shani started asking money from Sidar to drink alcohol. Shani Sidar abused Shani Sidar for not giving the money and brought a hanger from home and hit Shani Sidar on his back. Meanwhile, the people of the house came to the rescue and informed Dial 112. On the report of the applicant, FIR was registered against the accused. 121/2024 Offense was registered under section 294,506,323,327 of IPC.
Injured Shani Sidar has been referred to Raigarh Hospital after initial treatment at Tamnar Hospital. On the report of the victim, section 307 of the Indian Penal Code was extended and immediately police station in-charge Tamnar Inspector Ashirwad Rahatgaonkar and staff raided the accused Suresh Sidar, father of late. Sudarshan Sidar, aged 27 years, resident of village Janjgir Fittingpara, police station Tamnar, was taken into custody, from which the suspender used in the incident and the clothes worn at the time of the incident were seized and the accused was arrested and sent on remand. Police station in-charge Tamnar Inspector Ashirwad Rahatgaon, head constable Dev Prasad Rathia and Doyle 112 staff played a special role in the immediate identification and arrest of the accused.
