Gariaband. A case of horrific murder has come to light from the district. A young man had two best minor friends, but one was angry over a land dispute and the other because of a love triangle. There was a dispute between the three after drinking alcohol and both the minors together killed the youth. One injured him by hitting him on the head with a stick and the other killed him by hitting him on the face more than 20 times with an axe.
According to the information, 20-year-old Kailash Yadav was murdered near Belat drain last night in Podaguda village of Devbhog police station area. Police reached the spot on information about the incident. The police established a path, took possession of the body and started investigation. While investigating the case, the police detained two minor friends of the deceased. When the minors were interrogated, both of them confessed to killing their partner. After arresting the accused, the police recovered the axe, stick used in the murder and the mobile of the deceased from Belat drain. Police station in-charge Gautam Gawde said that a case of murder has been registered against both the minors and they have been arrested and further action is underway.
