Assam: Biswanath Police takes decisive action by suspending 11 licenses and 4 registration certificates

Guwahati: In a concerted effort to promote responsible driving and ensure strict compliance with traffic rules and regulations, Biswanath police in Assam took decisive action on December 29 by suspending a large number of driving permits and registration certificates. They were investigating a total of 13 driving licenses, 11 of which were facing suspension for various traffic violations. Two additional licenses were suspended because they were not found in the system or office records, highlighting the need for accurate and updated documentation for conductors. At the same time, the police also focused their attention on the registration certificates of vehicles and took action against a total of six certificates. Four certificates of registration identified with the designation DC were suspended due to problems associated with certificates of competency and no results were obtained. Additionally, two registration certificates are facing suspension for the same reasons, which emphasizes the commitment of the authorities to guarantee the suitability of vehicles for circulation on the roads of Biswanath. This proactive step by Biswanath Police sends a strong message about the importance of following traffic rules and regulations. The suspension of licenses and registration certificates discourages potential violators while also underscoring officers’ dedication to creating a safe driving environment for the community. This measure not only addresses the immediate concerns related to traffic violations, but also contributes to the broader goal of promoting a culture of responsible driving. By holding people accountable for their actions on the road, police aim to instill a sense of responsibility among drivers and ultimately promote safer roads for everyone. This initiative is in line with the ongoing efforts of police agencies to curb traffic violations and improve road safety across the region. Act as a recorder for drivers who prioritize safety, sign traffic rules and maintain necessary documents to guarantee compliance with the law. While communities continue to face road safety challenges, Biswanath Police’s proactive approach exemplifies the commitment to creating a safe and responsible driving environment, making the roads safe for all residents and visitors.
