BOLENG: 12 more households from Sitang village signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the Pre-Feasibility Report (PFR) of the proposed Siang Upper Multipurpose Project (SUMP) at the deputy commissioner’s office here in Siang district on Wednesday. The MoU signing proceedings were overseen by DC Tayi Taggu.
Prior to today’s event, 59 households had already given their consent in a similar event of MoU signing earlier on 21 February this year. Out of the 84 total households in Sitang, 71 have now officially signed the MoU, bringing the total participation rate to a resounding 84.52%.
