Welcoming 19 new digital media platforms into the association, AEDMA President JT Tagam emphasised the need for a unified voice among media organisations, and urged the members to maintain ethical standards while publishing news content across digital platforms.

He also highlighted several initiatives undertaken by the association for the welfare and professional development of its registered members and the digital media fraternity in the state.

The newly inducted media houses include AB News Channel, Indian Prime News Arunachal Pradesh, KK News, Nefa Live, Papum Pare News, Arunachal Mojo, Siang Eung News Live, Hornbill News, Aalo News Today, Zoom Arunachal, Dawnlit Now, Arunachal News Coverage, JK News, Eastern Broadcast News, Jaago Arunachal News, Sagalee News, Keyi Panyor News, PP 24×7 News and Arunachal Local Lens.

Representatives of the newly joined media house representatives shared their expectations from the association, and sought continued guidance and support from the AEDMA for the professional growth of the members.

To strengthen the organisational framework of the association, the AEDMA constituted a legal cell, an RTI cell and a grievance redressal cell to provide guidance and assistance to its members on legal and professional issues.

The programme further witnessed a revision of the AEDMA bylaws based on suggestions and inputs received from both old and new members of the association.

Tagam expressed gratitude to IMC Mayor Likha Nari Tadar for promptly responding to the association’s appeal regarding the routing of corporation’sadvertisements and IEC contents through the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR).

He described the move as “a good beginning from the public office,” and informed that AEDMA members would soon visit various government departments in line with the circular issued by the DIPR on the implementation of the Arunachal Pradesh Print and Digital Advertisement Policy, 2025.
